Also, Milan don't have the strongest mid line, so they have some work to do, but I don't see any significant activity in the transfer market yet.
When it comes to their midfield Milan will really need to concern themselves with keeping their midfield strong next season. Because they played with so many loaned midfielders this season. Actually not all of them played in so many matches but they were at least alternatives to the main players. Bakayoko, Brahim Diaz and Vranckx all are about to return to their teams as their loan spell is ending soon.

Apart from that Tonali who is one of the most important members in their midfield is also chased by some teams. Newcastle is the most rumoured team with him currently. Losing so many midfielders at the same time could create some crisis for Milan so they should start looking for midfielders as Plan B.

Charles De Ketelaere was signed by Milan also and he is actually a really talented attacking midfielder. He couldn't contribute with goals and assists much this season but he is still very young. Hopefully he can start doing better in time.

I would actually say that if you can win with having loaned players in the squad, it is actually not bad. But the problem is that stability is not going to be there. Playing with loaned players means that the players are probably not going to be the same every season. Which means the performance is also not going to be the same.

At the same time, the quality of the squad is also going to vary. I don’t know what the financial situation of Milan is right now. I hope they will be able to make some transfers, which will make the squad stronger. But it is going to take a lot of money to successfully make the midfield and attack strong.
