In any case, you have several good reasons not to give btc to your wife:
1. The first reason is that if your future wife doesn't know bitcoin, this gift won't mean anything to her.
2. If btc is banned in your country, keep your secret to yourself. You'd also be exposing her unnecessarily to possible sanctions.
3. If there's a problem with the private keys, you'll blame her. Keep your keys to yourself.

Gifts arent really necessary when you do get married, it do just turns out that it do become that traditional.Its true that gifting some bitcoin isnt that bad but of course you would really be needing some consideration
on looking whether your wife to be is really that aware about it because it wont really be appreciated if she doesnt have any idea at all on what she had received.
