An unenviable position for Inter Milan at the moment, finances cost them the loss of Edin Dzeko who reportedly left Inter due to inappropriate salary offers and now that one of their strikers is uncertain
Inter Milan chose a safe approach because we all see Dzeko is very old player. Old players can suddenly lose their good performance after a few months, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic are latest examples and maybe soon we will see it with Benzema, Dzeko. It is so risky to give a long contract and high salary for very old player like Dzeko. Inter Milan just wanted to minimize risk if they sign a new contract with Dzeko.
next season will be a loss for Inter even though Lukaku is not a striker to say the least sharp because injury has prevented him from playing, but of course they need an experienced striker like Lukaku, and the recent rumors of their other striker Lautaro are interested in Chelsea, the bad news doesn't seem to stop for Inter.
Lukaku will feel happy to continue his career in Inter Milan but he and Inter Milan will have to finalize another deal with Chelsea. Will Inter Milan buy Lukaku in this summer?
