And to be honest I didn't expect Romelu Lukaku to be in the position he is in now. Chelsea really only want to profit from selling Lukaku to the Arab league. But Lukaku has even openly not wanted him to play in the Arab League. Even Lukaku doesn't have a problem if his salary has to be cut in order to stay afloat in European football. and he still really wants to play at Inter Milan. I think what can save Lukaku's current situation is Inter Milan who have to buy from Chelsea. because if not, then Chelsea might actually release him to the Arab League, namely to Al-Hilal.
It appears that another perspective regarding Lukaku should be considered. I am also perplexed by Chelsea's decisions this season since the transition from Abramovich to the new ownership. It seems like they have lost their vision and mission to bring home championships. Selling Lukaku to an Arab league, just as they did with letting go of Kante earlier, appears to be purely profit-driven. The funds acquired from such sales may not guarantee their ability to acquire players of equal caliber to those they have released, and it seems that this will be a task for their new coach.
Renewing the squad does not necessarily require selling senior players. They are needed for the warmth of the dressing room and the depth of gameplay. Their presence serves as a source of motivation for newcomers to the team. It is truly regrettable to see Lukaku being potentially sold to the Arab league in pursuit of significant profit, while it would be better to have him return as he desires to continue playing in Europe rather than in the Arab league.
