After Bellingham decided to go to Real Madrid, now Dortmund have found a replacement and are one step away from reaching an agreement with Edson Alvarez from Ajax. He is a pretty good midfielder and while joining Ajax, starting from the 19/20 season, he has won several titles with Ajax. According to sources, an agreement will be reached in a week's time and the transfer fee is still yet to be revealed, but I don't think it will be expensive. Dortmund seems to be recruiting again for the next talented player and if Edson Alvarez manages to prove his performance in Dortmund, of course it will make his name bigger in the future.

Edson Alvarez is not very stunning in my opinion, but he has enough potential if given effective training to hone his abilities, the 25 -year -old midfielder has no much experience in the big league, he only has the opportunity in his history 2 times playing in the Europa League And 6 times in the Champions League, in my opinion it is still somewhat a little.
But the flight hours played quite widely, for the German League and in the current Dortmund position that continues to improve it will bring it for the better.
If Edson to Dortmun is one of the pretty good choices for the Edin, considering that they need a midfielder.
Surely Edin Terzic already knows what Dortmund needs and the figure of Edson Alvarez will certainly be conjured the way he wants. Experience will never be achieved before getting a place in a better team in Europe and Dortmund can develop the talent that Edson Alvarez has. If later he manages to become a key player for Dortmund, surely there will be many European teams that will start looking at him and that can be a profitable thing for both players and Dortmund. But the journey is not always easy and with the increasingly competitive Bundesliga, of course all players will be tested for their quality gradually each season.
But he is already 25 years old, and in a few months he will be 26 years old, if Dortmund wants to make a profit in one or two seasons by reselling this player then Edson Alvarez must appear very impressive so that many clubs will glance at him and his market value will increase quite a lot, so I think this is just an ordinary Dortmund purchase to strengthen his team which is also not so good in defense because if they are good in defense they will not fail to win the Bundesliga, so if the goal is to sell back they will look for younger players at a lower price than they had to spend for Edson Alvarez, but we don't know for sure about that, because Dortmund knows better how to continue to profit from selling potential players.
