I believe Milan did the right thing. They should definitely get younger players on the team. I don’t think they should get rid of all the old players. Experience is also needed. But they definitely need young players to boost their performance for sure. The older generation is going to have a tough time keeping up against the young and fast players. If they can manage a good balance between the young and experienced generation, they will actually be able to do very well. I think this was the right decision taken by them about Eden Dzeko.
To be honest, i don't see the decision taken by Inter as good enough because if we look at Dzeko's performance statistics over the past 2 seasons, he was able to provide 31 goals in 100++ matches and that's pretty good imo, well after all young players are definitely more prioritized than a new player for reasons of physical fitness as well as enthusiasm
