People are saying that gambling is not good so nobody should involved themselves in it. Fathers/Mothers (parents) are shouting to their sons and sometimes beating them all because of gambling. If you are a gambler, the society sees you as a bad boy or person or a waste person in the family. Parents would be saying "look at your age mates, they are going to school and become a successful persons in the society, you are here playing gambling". They would even say, gamblers steal and thieves.
And really when you look at some of those boys they play Draft game morning till evening. Upon all these allegations against gambling. People are still Gambling. WHY? Is There Any Mystery Behind?
At this time, parents really need to give an explanation to their children about what really makes them become outcasts if they continue to gamble because long-term effects are bad things that will definitely happen to them when their personalities change into people who are just crazy about gambling.
i, as an older brother who has several younger siblings, keep saying that gambling is actually not bad as long as we can control ourselves when gambling, what's worse is that we get swept up in gambling and forget about our social life and are even willing to spend money and precious time just for can continue to gamble.
I very much agree with you, major problem we have in our societies today is that most parents don't give their children the time they need, most parents of nowadays are extremely busy themselves and have not the time to pay attention to what their young lads are doing outside home, or even in their private space, like in their rooms with their phones or personal computer..
In as much as we preach self control and all other measures that helps curtail gambling addiction, truth remains that the up bringing of a child play an important role in what their future may look like, and bringing up a child in a good manner is the responsibility of the parents and a joint efforts with their teachers in school, this can help a child gain a good knowledge of the good and bad way of gambling, and he being sensible can avoid the bad way of gambling to avoid addiction.
