Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
I am not gambling to make money, I gamble for fun, but making sure I am not wasting money on gambling. But if my work takes most of my time, I will prefer not to gamble because I put where that I make money from to be first.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Yes but not so big to make a life fortune. I do not know how to answer this than saying that I have weekly budget for gambling which is very small in amount and I do not go more than it.
when y'all say you don't gamble to make money but rather for the fun of it, trust me I get confused.
Is it that you don't make earnings from gambling or, you don't have a strategy with which you gamble with??

What happens to your earnings from gambling since you're not gambling for the money.
It's normal to get lost with such claims, what this is trying to tell you is that people have learned that losing is the only realistic thing with gambling, if you gamble it's certain that you will lose money.

To keep gambling, what is the only way forward? There is nothing left than to gamble very safe and lower your aim with gambling or even better not to expect anything from gambling.

If you have this type of mindset, you won't be an addict and you will gamble less, there is another benefit that comes with this.

1. You now understand the risk.

2. You gamble only when you can really afford to lose a certain amount of money.

You are now different from those that want to turn their lives around using gambling, you are now different from those that gamble every blessed day waiting for a miraculous day to take place.

Losing in gambling is REAL.
