I read that even if United were sold a month ago, the new owners, due to bureaucratic procedures, would only be able to start real management in mid-late autumn. Under such conditions, it is hard to hope that the summer transfer campaign for United will be successful - while there is no certainty, no one wants to make serious investments, although they are needed.
