It clearly wasn't him because if you click on that link now it says the username doesn't exist. Never and I repeat never accept any messages outside this forum for anything you are auctioning here. I've always been the same way even though I've never been a Target of scam attacks like MJ has.
I want to second what owl said.
Just use bitcointalk messages and make sure it is the real minerjones/or whoever you expect a message from. There is a possiblility someone creates an account with similar looking name (using some ascii symbols that mimic normal letter but are actually different). So it always makes sense to check the post history and their TRUST before interacting with anyone on the forum. Only if the real minerjones on Bitcointalk gives you a telegram link, you can (probably) trust it.
