With the news two weeks ago it seems Glazers are reconsidering selling off all their shares and that is where the bidding war is happening right now Sir Jim is considering allowing them hold some shares while The Sheikh is going in for complete sale. The Glazers want Sir Jim’s deal or a more improved offer by the Sheik and this would take the club sale another two months to complete which will eventually lead to the season been started with Glazers as owners. This has really affected ETH overhaul plan and the fans are really upset and they just had to a little protest during the home shirt unveiling.
The acquisition process for the Manchester United club is likely to take a long time because until now there is no definite certainty when the acquisition process will be completed. Indeed, of the several offers that came for the Glazers, only Sheikh Jassim got the green light from the Glazers. I think if manchester united has a new owner in this month of course they can move actively in bringing in lots of players to prepare themselves for next season.
One of the news I saw on social media was that fans were starting to feel uncomfortable with the completion of the acquisition, which was considered to be delayed, and some fans even demonstrated asking the Glazers to leave. Sheikh Jassim also offered an option to pay off Manchester United debt and I think Sheikh Jassim is one of the owners who wants to rebuild Manchester United to be the strongest team in the seasons to come.
This is bad news for Erik Ten Heg and Man utd Fans who are actually waiting for confirmation over the club's protracted ownership issue. Erik ten heg is actually excited to give the best for Manchester United in the transfer market this time and prepare for a better season. But the plans and enthusiasm that he has seem to be hampered by the uncertainty that occurred in the process of acquiring the Man utd club. But even so, I still hope that Man Utd can maintain the performance they had last season. And hopefully Erik Ten Heg quickly gets a suitable front-line player to sharpen Man utd's attack next season.
I don't see how this is bad for Erik Ten Heg, he should just perform his duty as usual, there is no excuse for the guy this time that he would completely coordinate a full season. And this issue of fans' unhappiness is being overrated, this is not the first time clubs are being sold/bought and it doesn't change anything about the performance even with the ones that a deal is completed and more money is being spent. Take Chelsea for example, despite the completion of sales and almost 600 million disbursed, what happened? People do lay emphasis on what is not, a takeover could be positive or negative for a club, and how are you sure it will be positive for Erik Ten Heg and Man U?
