Chelsea need to be much more active in the transfer market now. They even need to be the most active team among the top teams of the league. Because they have parted ways with many players in this transfer window. They will need to replace them with solid alternatives as soon as possible. They are in a rebuilding process in short.

The last season Potter sign so many players and Chelsea squad can be used for 3 teams to be honest, even though they recently have sold many of their players, it doesn't hurt them because they still have many players.
I agree with you, last season Chelseas's squad was a mess, they had more than enough players... Sometimes having too many players in a team can cause a headache for a coach, trying to find a stable line up and also make a lot of people happy.. So what Chelsea is doing this season is offloading there excess weight and bringing in the very little required players that they feel is needed!!! And i feel (WE) Chelsea are doing just the right thing and we dont really have to outdo ourself this season!!!
