in some cases, things like this happen quite often, some people become addicted to gambling because they are lonely (the same when you are addicted to online games) and have no place to vent their loneliness apart from gambling, self-control is important, don't ruin yourself because of a lack of self-control.
Do you think someone who has a job or business in which they are engaged will really feel lonely to the extent of putting their loneliness on gambling alone? After work, you have a few loved ones to spend time with, and you also have to rest for the next day's job. Well, I think it depends on the individual and the nature of the job or business they are doing, because definitely someone who is in a good job that is paying them well cannot afford to risk their job for gambling. They will definitely give more time to their job and only gamble at a pace that they are comfortable with. I know of one man who was a real full-time gambler, but the nature of the job (A college teacher) he got into now doesn't even allow him to have as much time as before for gambling. So, one can be lonely if they don't really have something that they are more engaged in, unless gambling.
