Maybe he's an old user of freebitcoin so maybe at that time the price of bitcoin was still cheap and the withdrawal limit was still higher in terms of satoshi than at the moment what we see is 30k satoshi, maybe in the past the withdrawal limit was hundreds of thousands of satoshi or more because of the price of bitcoin which was still cheap at that time, because the current bitcoin price was high so to withdraw the minimum was 30k satoshi.
The minimum withdrawal has been 30000 sats since the day the site launched. Obviously, it was a lot quicker to get to when the base prize for free rolls was 2000 sats.
Withdrawal fees are indeed better using low but maybe it will take a long time especially automatically which is also good if you don't want to bother withdrawing withdrawals, transaction fees
Withdrawal fees are based on the current network fees that we have to use to get the transactions confirmed. The weekly autowithdraw fee is capped at 300 Sats so you can save money using that when fees are high.
for instant are also not really instant sometimes waiting for more than 12 hours to process, in my opinion it's just an option anyway Of course, the process will take some time too,
Instant withdrawals are sent within 15 minutes unless the account has been flagged as suspicious by our anti-fraud system and I need to manually review it them to see if they are been using a bot/automation or multi-accounting.
but I've been thinking whether one day FreeBitcoin will use the lightning network for bitcoin withdrawals.
It's something I'd like to do but it would be very complex on a large site like this to ensure that channels are always funded and to balance how much of the hot wallet is required on both networks.
At least I understood and got answers to some of my doubts and almost all of them have been answered by you @TheQuin, thanks for that, I wasn't really worried about withdrawals taking several hours on the instant option, that's because I thought it might need a review manually from the team so I have to wait for that, but at least the withdrawal process doesn't take days and I'm happy with that, I prefer automatic withdrawals with cheaper fees for weekly.
I recently accessed and reactivated on freebitcoin and have only withdrawn bitcoin from there since 2022 even though my account was registered a few years ago so I didn't really see the previous year's minimum withdrawal, but whatever it is, it's nice to hear your answer.
