We cannot consider any betting without money as gambling. There are some situations where money is not exchanged but is treated as a bet. I have some friends who sometimes bet with some others friends where they don't prioritize money. But if they lose the bet they are obliged to give treats. Can i consider such bets as gambling? Definitely not, Because there is no direct relation to money. Moreover, no one has any regrets even if they lose.
I disagree, if you are putting something at risk in an event that could go either way then this is a form of gambling, there are many fans which are so crazy about their teams that when two popular teams face each other their fans make all kind of bets among each other, and the ones that bring the most attention are not the ones that involve money but the ones which involve doing something humiliating or something extreme, like for example shaving all your head.

So while we are used to think about gambling exclusively as a way to risk our money, this is not really true if you think about it.

In the above post he said that if the party or people who lose will have to give the treat to the other party then it will qualify as a bet.

Although they do not have placed initial money on this bet but it is mutually understood between the two that the one who loses will give the treat and of course the treat will not be in the form of money but ofcourse it will be anything which has a value and can be counted in terms of money.
