Biggest bag yet in free agency looks like it’s going to go to LaMelo Ball. The youngest of the Ball brothers is said to be on the verge of signing a five year deal worth more than a quarter of a billion dollars. That young man is about to be one wealthy kid. If he can actually live up to this contract I can see him becoming a billionaire by the age of 30.
Oh wow!
Report: LaMelo Ball, Hornets finalizing 5-year contract extension
Guard LaMelo Ball is set to receive a reported five-year, $260 million extension from the Hornets.

Damn. that's huge. But I think he is worth the price.
We've seen the Charlotte Hornets suddenly grow stronger because of him. All he needs is more good players surrounding him and soon they will be in the playoffs every year. May not be a championship caliber yet but it is sure is a young team that will go there in the future.
I don't know why Michael Jordan is going to sell his share but he might miss this chance that the Hornets will be filled with fans and more profits coming for him.
They now have one rookie that will definitely be a good duo for Ball, all they need is experience.

Also, one more piece of news came out and I thought they are just discussing the matter about the roster.
