From what you have written, I can see that all you are trying to pass is the ability of you betting and making consistent profits but greed has eaten you up to the extend that you always end up losing the profits. You need to have self control or else you will keep losing. There are people that if they eventually make the kind of money you had in gambling, they will be rich by now. You need to work on yourself so that you will not be this greedy to the extend of losing this amount of funds that many gambler's had been longing to make and leave gambling entirely.
There are so many cases that happen when someone gets a win, so it's certain that the next day they will continue to do it with high confidence in a win which in the end it turns out they actually accept defeat. All gamblers will feel in this position, I think this is natural because we know that everyone needs money and most of them always want more than what they already have. In this position, the factor of self-control is indeed very important, but few of them can do it because the lure of victory in a gamble is so great that it makes them place their hopes too high. To be honest, I always tell my friends who are curious to try gambling, I always forbid it because I feel that it is too difficult to get out of gambling.
