Arsenal failed to win the Premier League because they could not maintain their consistency. I think the reason is that they don't really have the proper preparation and they don't have a lot of options to rotate players, so fatigue and injury became a big problem for them. Besides that, Arsenal also don't really have a winning mentality, one important thing that their rival (Man City) has.
We are still far from the level of mentality that City has but we are coming near to it. Last season we made lot of improvements and the fact that coming from a 5th position in 21-22 season to close to winning the title in 22-23. It's difficult when there are strong competitors like Liverpool, City but we still did our best. Now we know what is to face a team like City in
title race so hopefully we will start things strongly and maintain consistency throughout the season.
Arteta certainly wants to make Arsenal even better this season, but I think it won't be easy for Arsenal to become champions because apart from Man City, Liverpool and Man United will also have the same target.
Yeah, its tough to win the title no matter how strong a club is. What's important is -
consistency and right now City are best at it. We need to improve our game a lot to match City's consistency and hopefully will make a great progress in this season.
