Sandro Tonali has officially signed for Newcastle by a 70 million euro transfer fee. This is a really good start to the transfer window I think. Because he is a really talented defensive midfielder and he can make the line between Newcastle defense and midfield stronger now. However Newcastle should continue to make more transfers to build a solid team to maintain consistency in the Premier League and do a decent job in the Champions League on one hand.
I don't expect Newcastle's Champions League target to be more than reaching the group stage though. But if they have a good draw they can do a really good work thanks to having a stronger lineup and a solid cooperation among the players.
Well this is a good step for Newcastle in an effort to strengthen the midfield as we know Newcastle often plays draws even recorded 14 draws last season, Sandro Tonali can be relied upon in defense and gives the best assists, in Serie A he played 130 matches scored 8 goals and 17 assists it's not bad as a central midfield player. Last season Newcastle spent €185 million to bring in several players and for this season Newcastle has spent €77 million, I'm sure this hasn't stopped because I think they still need players in attack.
By the way, Sandro Tonali is not the only Newcastle player worth 70 million last season Newcastle brought Alexander Isak at the same price from Real Sociedad.
