Re: Help get started on trading without my husband! Asking 0.04BTC - 0.11BTC

Me saying I keep secrets from him anyway was more like a humorous snarky comment. It’s not like I cheat on him
Or anything.

I would NOT describe myself unethical. I have my reasons to keep my husband out of this. I haven’t had anything for myself in 5 years! I have been living my life with accidental baby poop on my hair, serving people who change their mind every 2 minutes and overall taking care of my husband.

So when I got into crypto I feel like I found something I can be truly passionate about. And it’s been two years and I have studied a LOT. A LOT LOT.

I don’t only want but I need this trading to be MY thing. If I put my husbands money on the line I already know how he will start advising me and before I know it he’s making trades with me and starts to dominate the whole thing. I know my husband, this is just who he is. I love him more than anything but sometimes I do something and it’s my secret until some time, this cause in August I will tell him about it with  hopefully good results (haven’t lost the money completely )

May I ask what is preventing you from trading with your own money?

Sure, 0.097BTC is about three thousand US dollars (and may be a bit too much), but people on this forum usually loan to people who have some kind of security to store with the lender in return - a collateral basically. "secured credit cards" from banks work the same way.

The thing is, your adventure is not guarrenteed to return you the profit, which means if you are unable to pay back the $3,000, then the lender is screwed.

But then again, if $3K is too much for you, why are you trading with what you can't afford to lose? Trade with a smaller amount, or just buy Bitcoin for $3000 and wait until 2025 or 2026.
