Some people become addicted to gambling because of the way in which they view it; specifically, when it gets to the point where they are unable to control it any longer. For example, when someone gambles in order to make money or when they observe someone else making money from gambling, some people assume they become wealthy as a result. I have never seen someone who is wealthy through gambling and did not become addicted; the most of the individuals I know are gambling addicts. Imagine sitting down and imagining how money will come their way without working, which is, in all honesty, pretty rare.
When they observe other people who gamble and are successful in making money, they think that they too can make money gambling.
And that led them to try it for a few dollars and they made their first profit.
That is the advantage for beginners in gambling but henceforth, they will not be as lucky at the beginning because they will face more losing moments than winning.
And when they instead continue to play gambling and even forget the time, they will only become addicted to gambling without them knowing it and will get deeper into gambling.
The responsibilities will be lost and they will not have good self-control so it will accelerate them to become a serious gambling addiction.

The after effect of curiosity and the desire to experience what other people have when they play the game, that kind of mentality is very dangerous as you wanted to try your luck believing that you can duplicate what others can do. Always remember that whatever strategy or whatever patterns that they've used, it doesn't mean that you will get the same result.

Re-assess after facing a defeat, instead of keep insisting on playing that kind of aggressiveness will endanger you to keep aiming for more.
