I'm not sure if you'll get the possible solution you seek from this black complain because bow on earth do you expect people to give you solutions when you didn't even mention the name of the competition or even show proves to your claims.
Now  let me advise  that it will be better if you try getting in touch with organizers of this competition  which you said you already did and if there isn't no respond  after sever attempt, then you should atleast let people know of the name of the competition  so as to help tag it a scam to avoid others from  falling into similar situations.
I will be glad if the thread is updated frequently  so as to keep the community  and forum aware of the situation.
