Best is to avoid altcoins all together and just stick to bitcoin that you store in open source wallet like Electrum or even better hardware wallet.  That way you dont have to worry about these types of airdrop scams

I think it's better to create a new wallet that only used for airdrop, so it's safer and makes our main wallet more secure, then of course we will never be afraid to participate in any airdrop, because the wallet we use to join airdrop is a new wallet and not a wallet for storing assets that we have (main wallet).
I think by revoking smart contract authorization towards our wallet already suffice if we really want to avoid getting drained of our wallet but I guess
just changing wallet and have an address specialized for airdrops would be more safer from getting our investment drained by some scammers I guess.
but I think someone should just pick only some airdrops that they deemed to be trustworthy like having partnership with big platform for the sake of having legit airdrops.
time wasted following some shitcoin airdrop just isn't worth it honestly.
