Casimero's path to becoming a champion won't be easy since he has yet to have a championship fight. Currently, all eyes are focused on the upcoming Fulton vs. Inoue fight. By the time Casimero becomes a champion, Inoue might have already unified a belt and could potentially decide to move up in weight class once again.

If Inoue will gonna just beat his opponents easily just like he beats those guys in the lower weight division, then there's no point for him to stay in his weight class anymore rather he should continue to fully max his potential until he reached his limit and be one of the pound for pound legend in the boxing history. He is still young and surely he will gonna face some real contenders in every weight division and maybe Casimero will be one of them so that he won't be having any doubts about his skills that he was able to beat every opponent out there that are once great like him in his era.

Let's see first if his body can handle some extra weight, the ones that are required in featherweight and above, as talking about the next weight classes are kind of premature as of now because Naoya Inoue is still approaching his first fight at 122 pounds against a champion. Moreover, we don't know yet if his body frame will let him go as far as 130 and 135 lbs.
But if everything will be fine in this current division, I also don't see any reasons why he should remain fighting at 122 because given his status in the industry now, he should take advantage of it while the opportunities are still there.

Yes, I agree, it's too premature for us to judge Inoue, but we have seen many great boxers to move to different weight class and still manage to do a very good shift without noticing any difference from their power and speed.

Maybe his frame can take it, is height is listed as 1.65 m, so it's around 5.5 to 5.6 inches, so physically he should be fine.

But if he goes up in weight to let's say 126 lbs and up, now that will be different as his small frame can't take it. But let's see, the fight is slowly getting the hype is needed for Inoue and Fulton.
