Ofcourse Inter Milan will be reluctant to buy the Chelsea man who is past his prime years for £30 million. Such amount for a 30 year old isn’t common, the fact that Chelsea prefer to sell him permanently rather than accepting a loan will make it even difficult to strike a deal. Somehow they will have to find a way around the transfer fee, Chelsea will have to reduce the fee for Inter Milan to get the player this summer.
Chelsea certainly don't want to suffer losses after they bought Lukaku from Inter Milan for close to £100 million and it's only natural that they set a price of 30 million for Lukaku in this transfer window this season. Even if Inter Milan thinks that Lukaku price will be very expensive, if 30 million, it is not impossible that other teams will approach Chelsea to lure Lukaku. I think Lukaku was very integrated into Inter Milan game last season so they should be able to bring Lukaku back for next season.
Seeing Lukaku stature which is quite large I think he will be able to play in the next few seasons and there is no big loss for Inter Milan if they buy at 30 million. Well most likely inter will be looking for funds to support them in completing the Lukaku transfer from the sale of Onana that is one of the options they may be working on.
