Who doesn't want to get rich? To be honest, a lot of our problems can be solved by having enough money. But why do people stay poor? It's because of the lack of opportunity.

Income
The lower class has to work hard everyday for a minimum of 8 hours a day just to earn a salary that isn't even enough for all of the expenses. Even if they have work, they just try to make their salary enough for their living expenses. It means that they don't have the opportunity to save for a possible business or investment to have another source of income. Poor people aren't lazy. Most of the time, they spend almost of their 24 hours working, yet it's never enough. While for rich people, even if they are sleeping, they are earning because the lower class are the ones who are working for them.

Education
Lower class don't have the privilege to have good educational opportunities that rich people have. Graduating to a prestigious university with great school credentials since you're only worry is your school works while poor people have to work and study at the same time. And once they start looking for a job, more opportunities come to those who have good educational background and credentials.

Connection
We live in an environment where the people around us are mostly in the same class as we are. So poor people tend to be surrounded with poor people with limited opportunities. While rich people often meet with other rich and powerful people where they can build and strengthen their connections and power.
