In other words, Pochettino clearly challenged himself in front of everyone as well as satirized the coach who failed to bring Chelsea. Pochettino looks confident as if competition in the Premier League is easy for him. lol

Maybe he's trying to cheer himself up because getting Chelsea back to their best is quite a task. After selling several players and bringing in new players, it seems as if Pochettino already has the ideal squad. We'll see in the next season if he will embarrass himself as he said to the media that if you fail it means trouble is ready for Pochettino.

Ideally, that's what the coach should do to build the mentality of his new squad. The reason is, as we know that last season Chelsea experienced a downward trend like a team that had lost motivation to play. well, Pochettino is well aware that if he cannot bring Chelsea in a better direction, that means he is ready to be replaced like the coaches before him.
I want to flashback first, before Pochettino officially became Chelsea coach. Previously, there were two big names that were predicted to become Chelsea coaches, namely Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique. however, in the end the two coaches chose to resign after conducting several negotiations.

IMO, it seems that the target that Todd Boehly wants could be a problem for the two coaches. plus, the request for conditions that Nagelsmann and Enrique want is rejected. which in the end, Pochettino came and accepted the challenge from the club. so, it would be only natural for him to make such a question.
well, since he has made his statement, let's see how he will bring Chelsea in the 2023/2024 season. supposedly, Pochettino could lead Chelsea in a better direction. moreover, in the next season they do not have a schedule that is tight enough. in other words, Pochettino is only focusing his squad on the Premier League. well, let's see if he can.
