Everyone knows the limit, however, the issue starts when they start chasing the losses. Never ever do that because when we incur huge losses we are in eh emotional breakdown. Honestly losing a good amount of money over gambling can hurt us more than love break up and that's why one should not proceed to gamble during that state of mind. It's simple logic, you start blaming yourself, you start mugging up that you should have stopped when you had the chance and meanwhile, you keep telling yourself that you can earn a big amount of money and recover those losses. But that never happens because we end up with even worst decisions during that gameplay.
The only solution is to quit gambling for a day or something. Do something else, maybe go to the friends, watch sports or go for a city ride or something like that. It can divert the mind and get our heads off from gambling.
Once the state of mind is good, we can start gambling again and then the chances of winning also rise with it.
Simple answer, Don’t deposit money that you can’t afford to lose. Most common golden rule on gambling yet many gamblers still don’t follow that’s why they keep chasing losses once they already burn their bankroll. Honestly speaking, You will never consider recovering your losses if you deposit an extra money only that ok for you to lose in exchange for the entertainment on gambling. We are paying on gambling for entertainment while profit is just a part of it and not the main purpose of gambling.
Chasing losses, Bad losses and other aftermat result of gambling should be avoided if all gamblers follow the golden rule that I post above. I’m saying this as an experienced gambler that do all this mistakes and at some point blame myself for losing badly. I manage to play relax and casual regardless of the result by just playing using the money that I consider as disposable so that I will not be too attached on it when I lose it since losing in gambling is highly possible than winning so gamblers should expect more losing outcome when gambling too often. This way, You will not deposit money that you know that is important to you.
