I don't think Pochettino will be able to build a title-worthy team in such a short time. Chelsea were not in the top 10 of the points table last season. Their performance was poor. The state of the party was shaky. Such a team needs time to strengthen and bring stability in performance. Next season Chelsea will be aiming to possibly qualify for the Champions League. And qualifying for the Champions League will also be challenging for Chelsea. Because there are several teams better than Chelsea in the Premier League right now.
Qualifying for Champions league is already impossible for Chelsea because Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United are active in the transfer window, unlike Chelsea where they let their good players joining other clubs. Chelsea performance in this season might be similar like the previous season where all of the players don't have connections. Chelsea's owner need to keep Pochettino for the next season, changing a new manager might affect the current players' chemistry.
I wouldn't say that qualifying for the Champions League is impossible for Chelsea. But it will be much more difficult for Chelsea. Chelsea is a Renowned team in the Premier League. And they have the potential to be in the top four of the points table if coach Poch is able to stabilize the team. But so far it looks like we won't see Chelsea in the top 5 of the table. Because Manchester City, United, Liverpool Arsenal and Newcastle are all stronger teams than Chelsea.
