I don't know why Arsenal got so screwed up at the end of the season, but I was very surprised by their results when they could easily win the EPL but lost points against weak clubs... If they've bought new players now, there's hope they won't make such offensive mistakes next season... Although Man City are the best right now, they have managed to take all the cups they could...
I don't think most people would expect Arsenal to have something like this at the end of the season. They were strong in the competition for the top spot but they couldn't keep it going for long. The factor of players on the bench being one of the biggest problems in his journey, how could Arteta only rely on the same players for all matches so that he lost balance on the pitch towards the end of the Premier League. It doesn't matter which club the opponent is, weak or strong, if Arsenal lose most of their form then defeat is obvious. Now that Arteta has succeeded in bringing in Havertz from Chelsea, this will be new ammunition for the Gunners to further sharpen their line of attack. And I hope Arsenal will find a deal with West Ham for Declan Rice.
Arsenal having season of surprises because mostly were not expecting performance like this from them, but they have done good job and have surprising pole position for the rest of the season but sadly near the end they choke and have found themselves at the second spot due to poor results and injuries which hurt them and their fans badly but still this was good season for them because they have second spot in presence of teams like Manchester Untied and Liverpool which were not near Arsenal best.
Now for the next season Arteta doing good job and have few top players which are surely going to change things at The Emirates, and we can expect another impressive season from them with now we have few teams are doing well preparation for the top flight, and it's going to be entertaining season with all top teams having top quality changes as well.
