Gamblers play more card games offline, and they lose the most money in this game. You will find these gamblers in every country, many countries have strict gambling laws so they play secretly. Sports betting is more popular offline in my country, and gamblers lose huge amounts of money in sports betting. Because overconfidence in sports betting emotionally influences the gambler more to take large amount of bets. So if someone becomes addicted to gambling, he cannot quit this addiction until he becomes bankrupt.
And even going bankrupt may not stop some people to keep gambling, after all someone that has reached that level of addiction will not be above doing all kind of things to keep their addiction going, and this includes committing crimes so they can get the money necessary to keep betting.

Which is why when those people get caught and they finally realize what they have done, they have problems dealing with the guilt they feel, as they cannot believe they stoop so low just to obtain some money.

When a gambler is really addicted to addiction we can't really do what they can do in the name of money that they get a big jackpot in the casino, that's their only desire, they won't stop until they get it unconsciously big that the missing funds to them.
And sometimes even just to be able to gamble, he will even sell his other property at home just to have it equal to a casino gambling platform here in cryptocurrency. It's a painful thing to imagine an addicted gambler doing.

That's right, unfortunately addiction is an abyss. And when I watch videos about repentant ludomaniacs, it always hurts a lot.
After all, this trouble affects not only individual people, but also their families. And I can't even imagine how scary it is when your loved one is erased as a person and begins to be dependent, taking valuables out of the house. It's good that the percentage of addicts is not as high as everyone used to think. As far as I remember, no more than 8 percent. Although according to the general stereotype, all people think that if you gamble, then you are addicted.
