I've seen them pop up all around me, in small convenience stores and even restaurants. I was wondering if it's a good option to buy a gift for someone else, or are the fees too high and it's not worth it? Also I'm not sure how it works but figuring they give you a private key, and how safe is that?
I don't know if it's same like the normal ATM machine because there's no bitcoin ATM in my country yet, but I'll love to use one in the near future and I hope it becomes widely adopted in my country so it would prompt installation of the bitcoin machines, I live in an urban area so I think it wouldn't be difficult to locate when its finally adopted in my country because there's a current ban on Cryptocurrency that's made average people see bitcoin as an agenda for scam but hopefully the newly elected government would uplift the ban making more people to adopt the use of bitcoin in other words creating an opportunity for the installation of bitcoin ATMs in malls, banks and several locations.
However, OP I'm trying to figure out if in your next statement you're talkinv about tendering bitcoin as a means of gift for birthdays or ceremony, yes of course a gift can be any valuable item including bitcoin however not everyone would be very familiar or know how to operate the bitcoin ATM and there are other challenges like distance also so it would be faster and easier to use exchanges to send bitcoin as gifts to friends and family l
