Celsea should be challenging for the title next season and that's how they can get back the honor of the club. Chelsea isn't known for how they ended last season, they're known for winning. We aren't over expecting them to win the race but they should be in the conversation and be challenging other top clubs.
I don't think Chelsea will be competing for the EPL title next season, they have a lot of ground to cover before they can challenge for the EPL title again, they have a new manager, too many new players that are yet to adapt, and a 'new' hierarchy at the club that's yet to understand how football works (i consider Todd Boehly to be clueless about the beautiful game). Thus, next season Chelsea will be in the race for a top four finish, and if they can add one of the domestic cups to it (either the FA Cup or Carabao cup), then it would be a good first season for Pochettino.

it's still too early to reach that conclusion, because pochentino is a good coach and could be putting together a good team capable of surprising, and looking at the premier league, analyzing the arsenal that is making good signings to avoid the mistakes of the past, looking for liverpool who made few signings, looking at manchester united who also didn't see a big change in attack, looking at last season's champion who also didn't make big changes, so i see chelsea having a chance if pochentino manages to put together a good cast, newcastle can also be an obstacle

but chelsea may have a chance, but in my opinion, despite chelsea having a chance of being champion, it's a very small chance. we will have to see how these changes will benefit the team, and I see a big mistake by the team, they will only play two friendly games and against teams that are not very strong, they will play against dortmund, I don't know why they chose not to play many friendly games, like Does the coach expect to measure each player's performance without playing too many friendlies? and knowing that chelsea's first game in the premier league will be against liverpool, so we'll just see what to expect from chelsea in the premier league
