Both the blaugrana and Los Blancos are getting to know new talents who will most likely be good replacements for their most important players. Barcelona is also pursuing young market stars; it's a brilliant strategy that they're putting into operation, and it's making a fantastic contribution to the club. Vitor Roque is a young prospect who needs more time to develop and become a top player, nevertheless he is a potential player. Xavi Hernandez has objectives for young athletes; he's here to help them develop their cognitive abilities from infancy to perfect mature age.
Xavi not only wants to bring in young talent from other teams from a different country, but he is also happy to get some young players from Barcelona's academy who is basically a player of Spanish blood. If you look at the current composition of Barcelona's main players, they always have several academy players who have made it into the main squad. This strategy always benefits Spain because they will get some great players who will contribute to Spain's success at the international competition level such as the World Cup and UEFA Nations League and others.
Xavi could really be a successful coach if he is supported financially, but sadly he hasn't had that at Barcelona so far. Barcelona could be a great team again and once again a great challenger for a prestigious European title, but it's clear Xavi will have to be patient and adapt his squad well.
