I don't see PSG selling Mbappè but on the other hand, I feel it is Mbappè that wants to go to Madrid. Of a truth, PSG has all it takes to win the Champions league but it is obvious luck is rarely on their side; Mbappè desperately need to win that trophy and there is a better chance for him in Madrid than his present club.
It was precisely PSG who wanted to sell Mbappe because the player was not willing to extend the contract offered, PSG did not want Mbappe to just leave without getting any money from the player's departure. Mbappe still wants to last another year with PSG until his contract expires, he is free to determine his own destiny after being a free transfer player.
Real Madrid want to take advantage of Mbappe situation, they prefer to wait until Mbappe contract expires next summer to sign him for free. PSG certainly doesn't want to lose one of the players who has a high sale value for free, PSG has given Mbappe two options by offering a contract extension or leaving before the contract expires.
The thing is this, PSG have declared that Mbappe must either leave or renew his deal, while Mbappe maintains that he wants to see out the last year of his contract, before potentially leaving on a free. But it seems Real Madrid are awaiting the green light to agree a price, but will only do so if it suits them. Both Real Madrid and Mbappe would prefer for him to see out the remainder of his contract before heading to the Spain next summer. However, PSG’s stance is firm, and it means that he could be forced out of the door in the next few weeks.
