Mount made his debut, and let me say, he did a fantastic job introducing himself to the Manchester United team. He showcased his exceptional skills in his recovery, running into open spaces to receive passes, and providing support to both the defense and attack. The team's dominance have demonstrated, i mean young player doing it in style. Specially mention the brilliant performances from young players like Emeran and Fish. Personally, I'm optimistic and believe that Manchester United will have a successful season ahead.
Did he? I didn't saw the match but I did read people posts mocking his performance on twitter. And after looking at the video, it did seemed like he didn't performed well but yeah I would say he showcased some good movements. Still despite that he squandered on some good opportunities and a rocketed high a shot so he do need to work on his finishing back again. It's been some time for him so can understand things getting out of touch but I think he can do really well if he improves.
I don’t think it’s wise to judge Mount's performance based on yesterday’s preseason game alone. I did watched the match and I could tell that he had a good game. Mount was also able to launch Manchester United’s attacks from deep at every opportunity, and produced an exquisite pass to Amad Diallo which led to the best chance of the first half. We are yet to see him play with the big boys and I know what he’s capable of doing when the time comes.
