I wonder if Tottenham have a Plan B in case of Kane's departure this summer. Because Bayern Munich still seem determined to sign him. Some rumours say that Tottenham might go for Lukaku but I don't feel like the player would accept any offer from them. He is favouring Inter much more than any team interested these days.
But Tottenham still should be able to find a decent striker to fill Kane's place. They don't need to sign a world star like him as well. Because even though they have one now they still can't win any title. They need to focus on improving their performance as a team and then they can be more successful even with just a decent level striker.
Their plan B is to get that money first. I am sure that after getting about 100 million for him, they can get another striker for 40 million that would be great, and another midfield or defender for 30-30 each as a result of the leftover as well. That would mean they will lose Kane, someone who has been at the top of goalscorers of the season many times before, and always up there with others at worst case, but they will have 3 good players instead which would not be a bad deal.
Making that type of money is always a good thing for a team, even if you are losing your best player, you can cover the difference by getting better players in other positions to make up for the lost talent in a single position which they can do with this money.
