Exactly it is all just a FUD by some bitcoin haters that is actually causing global warming. But come to think of it there are many industries out there that emits heats.
Global warming is not caused by bitcoin critics. Global warming is caused by the depletion of the ozone layer which act as a shield that absorbs most of the ultraviolet radiation, and secondly the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, mething and nitrous oxide. Both substances are as a result of human activities. Some countries generates electricity using fossil fuel, and in the process, carbon dioxide is released to the environment.

But some bitcoin critics consider bitcoin mining to be contributing to global warming while tree are reducing in the world and human activities are releasing greenhouse gases to the environment, leading to global warming. There has been researches in the paste that bitcoin contributes less carbon dioxide despite there are also other gases responsible, although CO2 is the largest while methan the most potent.

Conclusion
In the grand scheme of things, the carbon emissions emitted by electricity providers supplying the Bitcoin mining network are inconsequential. At 0.08 % of global CO2 emissions, removing the entire mining network from global demand—and thereby depriving hundreds of millions of people of their only hope for a fair and accessible form of money—would not amount to anything more than a rounding error.
