Sadio Mane's market value dropped by 45 million euros in a season since he joined Bayern Munich. I think this was really a big mistake in his career. We were watching Mane - Salah duo doing amazing things at Liverpool. Mane was one of the most crucial players for the team. He wanted a new adventure but this hasn't been going on well for now.
It was not a mistake joining Bayern Munich at all, he didn’t perform like he did in Liverpool for some reasons, injury was one of them though and the fact that it was his first season with the club also had a little to contribute to it and also the trust from coaches also contributes to a players performance. It took him a while to become trusted by the fans to become one of the best player in Liverpool so I believe if he is given the chance and trusted he will do the same at Bayern Munich.
Tuchel also didn't give him many chances in the matches he managed Bayern Munich. Mane is also not very satisfied with his situation at the team now and he is an unwanted man on one hand.
I wonder how this will end for Mane. I don't feel like he will find a European team anymore. His wage is very high now.
He might be having regrets why he left Liverpool because the fact that the coach doesn’t trust him enough even when he is aware Mane is an experienced player means he is not appreciated and when a player is not appreciated and given much playing time he will lose form and feel unwanted. If Mane decides to leave I wouldn’t blame him because they help ruin his fine career when he was at his peak.
