He was injured and that was his first season with Munich but aside from that he is not that bad though with total of 12 goals with 6 assists for 38 games in total. He could have done better yeah but give him another season and he could prove that he is far better for sure but honestly what would you expect from the market value of a 31 years old player anyway?

And I was a bit surprised to see the news on social media where it was reported that Bayern Munich wanted to sell Sadio Mane at a low price and I wondered why Bayern Munich had to do that option. Does Bayern really need an injection of funds, so that Bayern want to sell Sadio Mane at a low price in this transfer window.
Seeing the statistics of his performance in his first season was not satisfactory, but we also have to look at the depth of the overall squad which is not so good and they shouldn't show sadio mane as if he really performed badly last season. I think Tuchel has expertise in reading the character of his players and I hope Tuchel doesn't misjudge Sadio Mane so he has to sell in this transfer window. Opportunity must be given to Sadio Mane for next season I am sure he will be able to make a bigger contribution to the team next season.
