A pretty good debut for Mount. The 2-0 win certainly made Man United happy because many young players were displayed by Ten Hag. Although Mount didn't score, he played pretty well. Although he only played 45 minutes, he was able to immediately adapt to Man United's style of play. Although Leeds is not a strong team, but Man United at least have the opportunity to try some young players. This result does not illustrate the strength of Man United, they still do not play in full team condition.
This is why it is called pre-season matches. They’re been played to try some new players and also to test different method of formation that’ll suit them more when the season starts. Manchester United played greatly well and I just applaud the team that Ten Hag is breeding for the upcoming season. A lot of youngsters showing potentials already ahead of next season, this is a good sign for a team like Manchester United as they’ll have a lot of substitutes in the bench to improve their squad depth.
