I purchased 20 units from Atari, and
I can not in good conscience recommend his service to anyone. My experience has been as such:
- I ordered on the 25th of March.
- I didn't get a response from Atari until the 29th saying that shipping would be on Tuesday(April 1).
- Tuesday and Wednesday came and went, no update.
- I emailed him both days and didn't receive a response until Thursday, in which he stated he missed the DHL pickup, and he'd extend a $100 credit towards my next order. I asked that he just include the USB cables in my order instead so I didn't have to source them. He agreed, and said he'd send double the USB cables, which is cool, but I don't need 40 cables at the moment.
- Friday came and went, no email.
- Saturday came, and he sent the tracking.
- I got the units on Monday(April 7th), but because I was in the middle of a home move, I wasn't able to open up the boxes and check everything out until the next night when I found out I was missing the barrel connector power cables. I ordered 4 PSUs, so you would think that I would have received something.
- I emailed Atari on the 8th stating my displeasure with the fact that I didn't receive the power cables.
- I sent another email on the 10th asking if he was going to do anything about the missing cables.
- Atari emailed me later that day saying he would get them out ASAP.
- I haven't heard anything from him regarding tracking or shipment confirmation, so I sent another email yesterday. I still haven't heard back.
At this point I am purchasing power cables from Amazon. I can't wait on him any longer.
On a slightly positive note - when he does respond, he is accommodating. But again, that's when he responds. I understand that he may have bit off more than he can chew with these group buys, but if he wants to continue to do business, he needs to rethink how he does customer service. Perhaps hiring someone to respond to emails and handle the PR side of things might turn the tables for him.
With the amount of negative feedback being left in his threads regarding similar service, and my recent experience with this order, I would not recommend Atari if you value customer service. You will probably have a better experience with GAW. While I have not purchased units from them, I can appreciate their reviews and the reported levels of customer service they give their customers.

GAW miners have the best reputation today. They have been around for a short time and as a member of the Gaw team, I can tell you we always do right by customers. I extend my apologies for your experience and I have PM you to make up for what was lacking. As an extension of Gaw miners I do my best to make customers happy. I am organising groupbuys here to get better prices for customers, but I understand sometimes the lack of response can be frustrating. I encourage all from now on to contact Gaw and they will provide service on my behalf.
