The real world assets are the assets you can see and that have values, but for now, cryptocurrencies are assets but are not real-world assets by that definition. However, in the nearest future if precious materials and valuable representations could be used to quantify the value of cryptocurrencies, then they as real-world asset is very arguably possible.

It's also possible that everything could be tokenized, it will only serve as an alternative means of valuing companies performance. A lot of projects are underway, the revolution in the valuation and interpretation of cryptocurrency is still young, and would surely be more unveiled and inculcated over time.
