Liverpool still have no striker signing on their agenda currently. However Firmino's absence must push them to look for a replacement. They can't move on to the next season with only one striker in the end. Nunez's possible injury can cause us to see Gakpo as a centre-forward again. This wouldn't be much ideal for Liverpool at all. If they don't want to spend so much money on a striker than they can look for a loan option or a favorable low-cost striker as a subtitute of Nunez. Nunez will also need to make some good improvement this season to prove his skills to Liverpool as well.
The attacking line could be jeopardized this summer as a result of Robert Firmino's departure from Anfield; his absence could have the same impact as Sadio Mané's departure, which is a risk Jurgen Klopp is unwilling to take, the reds try their best without their crucial players. All I know is that Jurgen Klopp has everything under control, which is never an easy step to follow. Liverpool will once again stand strong since the coach has signed and solved their primary problem, which is the midfield, by bringing three new midfielders to the squad, proving that they're ready for anything.
Indeed after Sadio Mane left Liverpool, the quality of their play deteriorated noticeably..... Although towards the end of the season they were able to achieve some good results... Let's hope that the new players can add some good moments next season and Liverpool will start playing well from the beginning....
