Have anyone watch the friendly match between Arsenal vs Nurnberg yesterday?
Kai Havertz was playing in left winger position, it looks like he will not replace Odegaard position in attacking midfielder. If Arteta really want Havertz to play in left winger position, he would become a substitute player since Martinelli is solid in that position, same like Bukayo Saka who's solid in right winger position.
I didn't watch this pre-season game and it looks like a draw isn't entirely good for a team like Arsenal either. About Kai Havertz's game, I only saw highlights of his circulating on social media and indeed he played quite badly in this match. But I think Havertz is very natural to play like that because he also came as a substitute for Reiss Nelson who plays as LWF. On the other hand, Havertz and the other players who entered the field can be said to be second-tier players, so if you want to see good performance from Havertz, of course that's not the right benchmark.
