I did use ezgif as you can see by the name in my link, ezgif-3-2c0d32ae07.gif, but was doing a conversion from video -- I couldn't find this one in gif anywhere -- maybe it didn't optimize it on a conversion.
I'd have realized if preview post showed the error but apparently newbie status don't let me see it.
