I’m a little disappointed with the results of the pre-season game. Despite having featured many young academy players I still feel Arsenal should be winning games with and without their first team players. However pre-season results don’t always determine the outcome of the season when it kicks off. There is still so much to work on, the boys are working hard and hopefully the results will start coming soon.
Pre season is not looking for winning but how manager adapt their strategy and give more minutes playing for some young players, I don't think disappointed after Arsenal held draw by Bundesliga 2 teams FC Nürnberg because all Arsenal starting line up dominance by young and players doesn't get more minutes playing.
Its not really important about debut from Kai Havertz can't scoring goals or assist but most important is how well adapt with new scheme from Mikel Arteta. Don't be serious with result on pre season match because Manchester United last season have quit well result on pre season but they have one tittle only as EFL Cup and their position under Arsenal in Primer League standings place.
You're right. In fact, Arsenal have also shown a pretty good performance. and well a draw isn't too bad either. Because this fight is not about who wins or who loses. But from this match I saw a little gap that Arsenal had in their left back line. But even so the overall chemistry is well established. Baits and passes also have a good level of accuracy. So I still see Arsenal who are quite strong like last season. My appreciation goes to Saka who always looks extraordinary in Arsenal's attack line. But Kai Havertz still seems to need more time to adapt to Arsenal's game. Because in debut first match Havertz, Havertz still doesn't seem used to it.
