Most gamblers who have a gambling addiction just like you believe that there is no problem.

I had a period in my life when I could not control my alcohol consumption and as a consequence I could not control my spending on gambling and other entertainment. If I had been asked at the time if I had an alcohol addiction I would have said I did not. I have not been drinking alcohol for a long time, so I can say with certainty that I do not have alcohol dependence. A lot of time has passed since then and I have learned to control myself when gambling. I don't lose money that is meant for important things and I don't gamble every day, but I still can't say with certainty that I don't have a gambling addiction.
