According to rumors Inter will retire from the race for Lukaku.
For now, it is not official but some journalists are saying this anticipation.
Fabrizio Romano explained that Lukaku had yet to respond to an offer from Inter Milan and added to the complexity of price negotiations with Chelsea's management. Juventus came to enliven the hunt for Lukaku's signature by offering Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea, a genius move made by Juve's management in this transfer.
Anything can still happen because the transfer market is still long and various possibilities can be explored by clubs that want the services of the player from Belgium.
Lukaku is just hungry for money right now. He will go anywhere as long as he is getting paid a lot of money. He is not taking the fact into consideration that he has not been performing well for quite some time. And he also does not seem to be worried about the fact that he is not performing like a player that cost Chelsea 97 million. He knows that Chelsea is not going to be able to get him off the team. He is still under contract with Chelsea.
So if he does not want to move to other clubs, Chelsea will have to pay him no matter what. And I don’t think he is actually going to get that amount of money that he is asking for because he is just not worth that much anymore. He is also getting old. Any club is going to choose a younger player instead of him at this moment, no club is going to want to spend so much money on a player that has not been consistent and also getting old.
