I think bitcoin-the-idea is incomparable to the businesses you mentioned, it is much greater. What is the current valuation of internet? Is it even possible to value in terms of dollars? So what would be the value of a new world-wide financial system? No idea, but I guess there is a singularity in that graph at some point. Before we reach that, though, I fully expect bitcoin-the-rollercoaster to be an opposite of boring, as it was so far Fully agreed.
Bitcoin represents a major paradigm shift in so many different fields and I'll continue to think it's wicked cool regardless of what happens to it.
It brings back that feeling I had back in the early 2000s playing an online multiplayer game for the first time and thinking "This is so f****** cool!", and then seeing internet gaming become a normal part of the average household in a decade.
